| Updated: September 10, 2022 06:56

Prime Minister Narendra Modi may be visiting Gujarat, his native state twice in 15 days’ time in the later half of September, if he visits his mother on 17th September, his birthday. While it is not yet official about his visit on September 17 to meet his mother in the state capital Gandhinagar, on September 29 and 30, he will be on a two-day visit to the state. He will be visiting Ahmedabad in Central Gujarat, Ambaji In North Gujarat, Bhavnagar in Saurashtra and Surat In South Gujarat.

Narendra Modi is quite close to his mother and makes it a point to seek her blessings by seeing her in person whenever he can. Photographs and videos of the prime minister sitting at the feet of his mother of both having a meal together have appeared in the media at regular intervals. PM’s birthday this year will not be an exception either.

Gujarat is scheduled to go to polls before December 2022. Though the election Commission has not yet announced the dates, political watchers estimate that the announcement is near imminent. With the increased movement of various leaders, especially AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal making a point to visit Gujarat several times a month, Gujarat is likely to see one of the most interesting political battles in recent times. BJP and Narendra Modi are unlikely to be complacent to letting their opponents gain.

The prime minister is scheduled to inaugurate the 36th national games on September 28 at the Narendra Modi
stadium in Motera in Ahmedabad. Later, He will visit Surat and Bhavnagar on September 29th. Narendra Modi will inaugurate or lay the foundation stone for several development projects.

On September 30, PM Modi will participate in the events organised at Ahmedabad and the important pilgrimage site Ambaji. At Ambaji he will declare open several important facilities destined for pilgrims. At Ahmedabad, the PM will dedicate some key projects.
