The agitation for a Gujarat constable being denied of an increase in pay grade which has been going on for the last three days, has taken the edge off and has been abruptly postponed.
A list of 14 demands was handed over to the government by police personnel. The agitators have softened after the government assured them of taking appropriate action.
It has also been decided that police families in Gandhinagar will not sit on the picket. The agitation had gained momentum over the last three days and more and more people were getting involved in it.
