Gujarat on Sunday reported a total of 420 fresh Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours with which the total Covid-19 cases tally in the state reached up to 12,30,128.

Ahmedabad topped the district-wise Covid-19 daily cases chart with a total of 161 new cases in last 24 hours on Sunday. Ahmedabad was followed by Surat with a daily count of 92 new cases on Sunday, Vadodara with 63 and Mehsana with a total of 17 cases.

According to the Health and Family Welfare Department of Gujarat, the state reported a discharge of 256 Covid-19 patients on Sunday making the total recovered count reach 12,16,719. There were no deaths reported on Sunday due to Covid-19 and the death toll in the state remained at 10,946. With this, the active caseload on the state has reached upto 2,463 cases on Sunday.

Apart from this, Gujarat administered a total of 9,488 people on Sunday and this led the total count of total vaccinated population in the state to 11.12 crore, stated the statement released by the state health department.
