In a notch lower than the previous day, Gujarat on Monday reported a total of 511 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of Covid-19 postive case reached 12,38,432 in the state.
Again the district-wise list of the daily positive cases of Covid-19 in Gujarat was topped by Ahmedabad with a total of 190 cases in the last 24 hours on Monday. Ahmedabad has recorded a notable dip in the daily positive cases of Covid-19 than its previous day, as the city on Sunday had reported 255 cases.
Followed by Ahmedabad, Surat registered 87 new Covid-19 cases, Vadodara reported 45, Mehsana 31 and Gandhinagar registered 30 new positive cases in the last 24 hours on Monday.
According to the Health and Family Welfare Department of Gujarat, there were no deaths reported in the state due to Covid-19 and a total of 426 people recovered from Covid-19 in the state on Monday. With this, the active caseload on the state reached 4,214 in the last 24 hours.
The statement by the state’s health department further informed that a total of 25,316 vaccine doses of Covid-19 were administered in the state on Monday and the tally of total vaccinated population in the state has now reached to 11.19 crore.
