Gujarat: State BJP To Celebrate 15-Day Long ‘Seva Pakhwadiyu’ On PM’s Birthday

To celebrate Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birth anniversary with grace and honour, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is going to observe ‘Seva Pakhwadiyu’ for 15-long days in the western state of Gujarat.

On September 17th, PM Modi will cover 72nd, to start 73rd chapter of his life.

State Party Vice-President Gordhanbhai Zadafia held a media briefing at BJP state headquarters ‘Shree Kamalam’ to announce the series of events scheduled for the 15-day long birthday fete.

Providing details of the events, the former Minister of State for Home, Zadafia said, “On September 17, we will set a world record by organising camps at 579 centres across Gujarat.”

He said, “CM Patel will inaugurate PM Modi’s paintings made by Akbar Saheb, a Dubai-based Indian painter that would be showcased at Ahmedabad’s Ravishanker Raval Art Gallery. The exhibition would be held for one whole week across Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot including Ahmedabad.

Briefing the media about Namo Kisan Panchayat campaign, Gordhan Zadafia said, “In the auspicious presence of BJP’s National President JP Nadda, the BJP Kisan Morcha will initiate ‘Namo Kisan Panchayat’ project in 14,500 villages on all 182 assembly seats of Gujarat. The programme will continue till September 30.”

Under the ‘Namo Kisan Panchayat’ campaign, information regarding the schemes run by the central government for the farmers will be addressed in more than 14 thousand villages of Gujarat. Party President JP Nadda himself will flag off this campaign.

Considering the health of girl children, camps will be organised on October 21st at 750 locations to carry the Haemoglobin test for around 75,000 girls falling in the age group of 13-20 years. This event will be organised as a joint collaboration between Mahila Morcha and state Doctors Cell.

On September 25, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay’s birth anniversary will be observed by organising various programmes based on his life and his contribution in the development of the society.

Mega Medical camps will be organised by a team of specialist doctors in 40 SC/ST assembly constituencies of the state.

Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Rural Development Government of India, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti will preside over Nari Shakti Vandana Program for Dalit Women of the state.

Nari Morcha will initiate a drive ‘Hello Kamal Shakti’ in Gujarat University convention hall on October 1 in the presence of Union Minister for Women & Child Development and Minister for Minority Affairs Smriti Irani to launch a mobile number in order to engage with women and related affairs.

Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission, a cleanliness campaign will be conducted across the state on October 1 and 2. In this program, a cleanliness campaign will be run by the state officials and workers of the organisation.

To observe the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, on October 2, all the party workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party will collectively buy Khadi and products made by the rural artisans.

The inspiring work and the remarkable journey of PM Narendra Modi will be showcased at the regional offices and district offices of BJP in 41 different locations.
