Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar has marketed opportunities for investors in Haryana, but beyond NCR.

During the recently concluded Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, Khattar and his team marketed non-NCR areas and elaborated upon fields where foreign investors could work for growth.

ACS (industries) Anand Mohan Sharan, who led the administrative machinery with Khattar, said they offered opportunities beyond NCR for overall growth of state.

“We offered attractive sops and other benefits to entrepreneurs and groups,” he said.

Air connectivity and logistics are the main concern. Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi is already connected to Haryana from three sides and even distances from non-NCR districts are not much, he added.

Haryana is already collaborating with companies in African countries. During the summit, Khattar and officials reiterated more support. Sources said Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Ambala, Sirsa and Fatehabad were the non-NCR districts marketed at the event. The Haryana team had one-on-one meetings with US logistics company UPS for refining skills of Haryana youth.

Rest of the companies with whom discussions were held included Black Stone from US for logistics support and setting up of new townships in real estate and to work in close association with UPISPF for renewable energy and IT sector.
