IIMA to Host ‘Chaos 2025’ from Jan 9-12

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) will host the 30th edition of its annual cultural festival, Chaos, from 9 to 12 January 2025. Founded in 1996, Chaos is recognised as one of India’s largest B-school cultural festivals, drawing participants from institutions across the nation.

In an official release, the institute stated, “This year’s Chaos is designed to captivate a diverse audience, including students, artisans, music and dance lovers, and knowledge seekers. The festival promises various events, from electrifying pro shows featuring renowned artists to engaging workshops, events and competitions, speaker sessions, and informal zones.”

Notable speakers at the festival will include Dr Justice D Y Chandrachud, the 50th Chief Justice of India; Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Founder and CEO of Paytm; and Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi, Member of Rajya Sabha. They are expected to share life stories and insights during their addresses to students and participants.

The pro shows at Chaos 2025 will feature live performances by three-time Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej on January 10, celebrated music composer and singer Amit Trivedi on January 11, and the fusion band Pineapple Express on January 12.

Faculty Masterclasses by IIMA professors and workshops by domain experts are also part of the line-up. Highlights include:

  • Design Thinking Masterclass by Prof Amit Karna
  • Deja Vu and Relevance of Ancient Indian Economic Ethics by Prof Satish Deodhar
  • Art Valuation and Investment by Prof Prashant Das
  • Bake it Simple by Mr Harish Premi
  • Contemporary Dance by Ms Supriya Shah
  • Mud Mirror Art by Ms Dhairya
  • Makeover Magic by Ms Sapna Premi
  • Salsa Dance by Ms Rythm Agrawal
  • Film-making by Shemaroo
  • Influencer Marketing by Mr Jithin and Mr Rachit from Qoruz

Chaos 2025 will also serve as a platform for young talent to compete in diverse categories, including dance, music, and drama. Participants from across the country will vie for top honours, showcasing their skills and creativity.
