Gujarat BJP Chief CR Paatil on Monday raided questions on illegal construction taking place in Bet Dwarka. Encroachments on government land in Bet Dwarka have increased in the last few years and religious constructions have started mushrooming on the roads. Due to this, there was a demand to remove this illegal encroachment.
On this occasion, State BJP Chief CR Paatil said, “No illegal construction will be accepted on the land of Lord Krishna. The Congress party allowed it but we will not. Strict actions will be taken against those who try to encroach government places.” A mega demolition drive started on October 1st, 2022 in Bet Dwarka, Gujarat. Religious and private commercial constructions on government lands were demolished using bulldozers in large numbers.
In the first phase, a total of 15 encroached constructions were razed off. The operation was carried out in presence of a tight police force. Top officials of the department were also present in the area. A convoy of 1000 police personnel was deployed for security.
