| Updated: December 15, 2022 18:44

Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot has requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to implement important schemes of the Congress ruling state government, across the country. He is of the opinion that Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme, Indira Rasoi Yojana, Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme, Indira Rasoi Yojana, Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme and the scheme to provide honorarium of Rs 1,000 per month to farmers, have turned out really effective for the people.

At a press conference, he proudly declared that there was no such scheme in the world and hence, he demanded the prime minister to implement the five programs in the whole country. He also highlighted the issue of social security for the common people. He was firm that the Central Government should introduce a pension policy for the whole country. He also said that a pension decision should be taken for the aged.

Talking about the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme, Gehlot commented that they have made the entire treatment free of cost. It is pioneering in the history of India that no state in India has provided insurance of ten lakh rupees.

He further took a dig at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, at the Centre, he blatantly said that albeit the party is in power, it is only so because of the religious sentiment of the public and the party is not progressive at all. He further said that it is one thing to come to power in the name of religion, but a different thing to rule with policy, program and principle in a democracy. He says that is what is lacking in India.

Jairam Ramesh, Congress’s general secretary was also present at the conference. He sharply remarked that PM Modi has changed the definition of PM from Prime Minister to Packaging and Marketing.
