In Gujarat 23 IAS officers Transferred

Ahead of Gujarat assembly elections, 23 IAS officers of the state have been transferred. M Thennarasan has been made Commissioner of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Dhaval Patel has been shifted as Collector of Ahmedabad district. Deputy Commissioner of Municipal Corporation R. A. Merja has been posted as Bhavnagar collector. 

Rahul Gupta has been given the additional charge of Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of GIDC. DS Gadhvi has been appointed as the collector of Anand and Dharmendrasinh Jadeja has been appointed as the collector of Dang Ahwa. Apart from this, G.T. Pandya has been appointed as the collector of Morbi. B.R. Dave has been appointed as collector of Tapi Vyara, while B.K. Pandya has been appointed as collector of Mahisagar-Lunawada. Praveena D.K. He has been appointed as collector of Gandhinagar.

Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Gujarat, A.K. Rakesh issued a circular announcing the transfer of 23 IAS officers in the state. It is worth mentioning that there was also a transfer in the police department. In which 13 PIS were transferred to Gandhinagar.  In Ahmedabad, 13 PIS were posted in the city and 4 were transferred internally. In Vadodara, officers in leave reserve are also being transferred to the police station, in which eight unarmed police inspectors of the city have been transferred.
