Many students from Maharaja Sayajirao University, yesterday, were at the venue of the Gujarat Gaurav Abhiyaan rally in Vadodara in order to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech. The majority of these were international students who had come to India from 40 different countries. These students hope to take the positive things from this experience back to their respective countries.

The students from countries like Afghanistan, Morocco, Malaysia, Iran, Egypt, Indonesia, Japan, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Philippines, US, Syria, Yemen, and others made up a beautiful sight at the venue as they dressed up in their traditional attires. All came to hear PM Modi speak and learn about the schemes he started for the benefit of people and take positive things to their respective countries.

“All the students are from different faculties studying in MSU and came to greet our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also to hear him. Modiji started a lot of schemes for the benefit of people, especially for the women in society. This has attracted attention from all around the world. These students want to take positive things from here and implement them in their own countries. They are very enthusiastic and dressed up in their traditional attires to welcome PM Modi in Vadodara,” said Bhavna Mehta, Dean, Faculty of Social Work.

The students also enjoy the traditional Garba with others to the tunes of popular Garba singer Atul Purohit. They dance their heart out and enjoy the time with others.

Professor Dhanesh Patel from the Office of International Affairs along with other officials guide the students to the venue and make them familiar with the local crowd.
