The first phase of Gujarat Assembly voting includes 53 Saurashtra-Kutch constituencies. Voting will begin at 8 a.m. today. The Kutiyana seat will see major political maneuverings, and the entire state of Gujarat will be watching. Apart from that, cricketer Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba is running for the BJP in Jamnagar North.
Both Anirudh Singh of Ribda and Jayraj Singh of Gondal publicly challenged one another. Consequently, there is a chance that there would be violence during the Gondal assembly elections. In order to ensure that there are no untoward incidents today and that voting is peaceful, the Election Commission has instructed the district police chief to provide the highest level of protection.
