A massive search operation is underway in the Kutch where the BSF troops have so far seized 11 Pakistani boats from the Harami Nalla area. This intrusion of Pakistani fishing boats and fishermen was reported in the general area Harami Nalla on Wednesday, February 9 late afternoon. For this search operation, three groups of commandos have been airdropped by Air Force helicopters from three different directions, currently, the commandos are closing in probable places where the Pakistanis are hiding.
Shortly after receiving the intel during the late afternoon of February 9, the DIG BSF Bhuj Virendra Kumar immediately launched a massive search operation in the area spread over almost 300 square kilometres. G S Malik, IPS, IG BSF Gujarat Frontier has also reached Kutch today early in the morning from Gandhinagar, currently, he is closely monitoring this massive search operation.
The harsh terrain of Harami Nalla which consists of extreme marshy areas, mangroves and tidal waters are making the task of the troops challenging.
