The Gujarat Congress unit leaders meeting to take a call on the new face for the state’s Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) in Delhi has come to an end and the new face is likely to be announced next week.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had a discussion with all the leaders in New Delhi today. Along with the Congress President, the Leader of the Opposition will also be announced.

Reportedly, Jagdish Thakor’s name is at the forefront of the presidency.

The names of four to five vice presidents will be announced. Ashok Gehlot will be given special responsibility in Gujarat. If Patidar becomes president, OBC will be given the post of Leader of Opposition.

The names of Virji Thummar-Punjabhai dynasty have come out in the Leader of Opposition. Moreover, the tribal leader will also be given special responsibility.

Senior leaders will be included in the advisory board.

Secretaries will be appointed in four zones before the Assembly elections and four youth secretaries will be placed from the center. .
