Prime Minister Narendra Modi commenced his third consecutive term on Monday by revealing the key portfolios assigned to ministers, following their swearing-in ceremony and the first Cabinet meeting.
President of India, Droupadi Murmu, officially appointed Modi as the Prime Minister during the swearing-in ceremony on Sunday. This event marked the establishment of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, with 30 cabinet ministers, 36 ministers of state (MoS), and 5 ministers of state with independent charge from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies joining the administration.
