Vadodara based 06 battalion of NDRF has been positioned in Rajpipla district for rescue and relief operations with respect to the rainy situation. The team worked hard on Monday, till midnight to rescue the people stuck in inundated areas. There were four citizens trapped at the helipad in Rajpipla in Narmada district, who were then rescued by the Team 6 NRDF in Narmada district. The names of the rescued who all belong to the same family are –
Jayesh bhai Raman Bhai -55, Harish Bhai Raman bhai-57, Diyaji bhai Raman bhai-55, Nitesh kumar jayesh bhai-20.
The rescue was not restricted to the above 4, as the team then, in tandem with the administration rescued nine males from Junakot area who were caught up near the edge of Karjan River at 0005 Hrs, they were then shifted to safer places.
The name of the persons rescued are Darmesh bhai – 45, Sailesh bhai -30, Ragu Patel -31, Darmesh r wasava -24, Kaushik h vasawa -30, Trilok -51, Yoseph -65, Rajender -45, Amol bhai – 35.
