National Start-Up Day Now To Be Celebrated On Jan 16: PM Modi

Narendra Modi had a conversation with Start-Up India on the completion of six years and during the conversation with him, he made an announcement that 15th January to 16th January will be celebrated as National Start-Up Day.

He also praised startups and -Apps, extended congratulations to all the innovative youth.

PM Modi today held talks with prospective businessmen and industrialists and following which he made this announcement. This meeting was organized and announced on the 6th anniversary of Start-Up India. January 16 is set to be celebrated as National Start-up Day to take this culture of start-ups to the farthest reaches of the country. Congratulations to the innovative youth who are raising India’s flag in the world of start-ups. The government is undergoing major changes to strengthen innovation, entrepreneurship and start-up ecosystems.

‘Our endeavour is to inculcate innovation in students from an early age in the country, to institutionalize innovation.

From the drone rule to the new space policy, the government’s priority is to give more and more young people the opportunity to innovate and for this, the process of IPR registration has been simplified.

He said that India’s world ranking has improved in innovation. India’s ranking has improved a lot. In 2015, India was ranked 81st in this ranking. India is now ranked 46th in the Innovation Index.

PM Modi has said that the country’s startup industry is undergoing a major change and this how startups will continue to be the mainstay of ‘New India’.
