Nation’s Biggest Foodie: Delhi Man Placed 3,330 Orders On Zomato In 2022

After Swiggy and Dunzo, Zomato published its annual report. The data shows that 186 biryani orders have been delivered each and every minute. According to the report, customers ranked pizza as their second favourite food, and 139 pizza deliveries are made every minute. The highest customer, who made 3,330 orders through the app this year, was also highlighted in the annual report.

This year, a man from Delhi by the name of Ankur placed 3,330 orders. He ordered food nine times a day on average. In its annual report, the meal delivery app recognised the individual and even dubbed him “The Nation’s Biggest Foodie.”

The study also highlighted the customer who saved the most money. The Mumbai resident who saved Rs 2,43,490 on all orders placed in 2022 was from Mumbai. The study found that 99.7% of people in Raiganj, West Bengal, preferred using coupons on the app and liked discounts. Raiganj has established itself as a city that enjoys sales. 

The funniest Zomato searches were also disclosed by the report. With 4, 988 searches for Oreo Pakoda, 724 for Elon Musk food, and 1 for Ye Kohli Kya Khata Hai. 

Biryani was the most often requested food on the app, according to Swiggy’s report, which was also released at the same time. The report by Swiggy stated, “The dish demonstrated its ‘asli dum’ with a mind-boggling 137 Biryanis being ordered per minute; that’s 2.28 Biryanis per second.”
