On June 9, Actor Nayanthara and Director Vignesh Shivan tied the knot in Mahabalipuram near Chennai at 9:30 am at a resort. The couple has been in a relationship for seven years, and on June 7, Shivan announced their marriage that is to be held with close friends and family.
The wedding ceremony was attended by many of their celebrity friends like Vijay Sethupathi, Sarathkumar, Karthi, director Mani Rathnam, Boney Kapoor, director Atlee, and television host Dhivya Dharshini.
The guest also included actors Chiranjeevi, Ajith, Suriya, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Actor Nayanthara graced a custom-made embroidered red saree with a full sleeve dotted with beautiful embroidery, and Shivan wore a beige-colored kurta for their wedding attire. Both are custom-made by the design house Jade, while her Green & white Kundan jewelry is from Goenka, India.
A few hours before the wedding, Vignesh Shivan shared photos of the couple on his Instagram.
Posing with his manager and director Atlee, Shah Rukh Khan, who recently recovered from COVID, also attended the ceremony.
