NEET PG 2024: The date for the NEET PG 2024 exam is July 7, 2024. Candidates who want to appear in the NEET PG 2024 must be eligible by August 15, 2024.

The exam schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 was announced today by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Medical aspirants can visit the official website — nbe.edu.in, natboard.edu.in to see the detailed schedule.

The schedule released today states that the NEET PG 2024 exam will take place on July 7, 2024. The eligibility cut-off date for the NEET PG 2024 is August 15, 2024.

The official notice said, “The NEET-PG 2024 examination, which was tentatively scheduled to be held on 3rd March 2024 as per the NBEMS notice dated 09.11.2023, has been rescheduled due to the receipt of NMC letter No. N-P018(20)/7/2023-PGMEB-NMC/000587 dated 03.01.2024.”

NeXT (National exit test), a national-level medical exam, will be postponed by a year and will be likely to start in 2025. The exam was supposed to begin in 2023. The new regulations that have replaced the Postgraduate Medical Education (Amendment) Regulations, 2018, state that the existing NEET PG exam will remain till the NExT becomes operational for PG admissions.

The NMC has also brought in the “Post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023,” which require that all rounds of counselling for every seat will be done through online mode by state or central counselling authorities.

NMC has also started post-doctoral fellowship courses in medical colleges regulated by it to encourage research and clinical skill development.
