Online exams for Semester 1 students of Gujarat University for as many as 39,000 students from science, commerce and arts streams have begun as of today even though all the Covid-19 restrictions have been uplifted restricting offline education since last week.
The exams are to be held from today till March 7. Four examination sessions will be held each day on the days online examinations will be conducted.
In each of these four sessions, 50 questions will have to be answered by the students. Each question carries one mark and students will have 50minutes to answer these 50 questions. Students will have to log in to the website 20 minutes before the scheduled time.
The online examinations are being conducted for the students of the first semester as they were provided with the option at the time when Covid-19 cases were at a high. However, now the classes and examinations have begun offline for preschools as well. At that time, around 39,000 students had opted for online exams and the other 50,000 opted for in-person exams.
The first semester exams for students who have opted for offline mode will begin from March 15.
