Criticism poured in from the opposition, demanding to carry out a drug test, after a private party video went viral capturing pictures of Finland’s Prime Minister, Sanna Mirella Marin dancing and singing with her close friends.
The 36-year-old Finnish politician, has been serving as country’s premier since 2019, is facing a severe counterattack after the video of her partying went viral across social media platforms.
However, PM Marin has cleared up all the allegations against her and expressed the truth that she had only consumed alcohol and nothing else while attending the party.
“I danced and sang, which was completely legal, and I don’t need to make any changes in my behaviour and will always be like, who I really am,” said Finland’s PM.
Marin at 36 was recently named as the coolest PM by a German news outlet Bild (one of Europe’s great media institutions that cover news on celebrities and gory crime stories with hard-hitting political scoops).
Marin was elected as PM on December 8th, 2019, at the age of 34. She is the third-youngest state leader after Dritan Abazovic (Montenegro) and Gabriel Boric (Chile).
