The National Games will be inaugurated today at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
For the high profile security arrangements of the prime minister, NSG commandos, Chetak commando of Gujarat, paramilitary force along with police force will be deployed at the venue. Separate parking and seating arrangements have been designated for people coming from outside.
The National Games have been organized this year in the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The National Gamesare scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday evening. As VVIP dignitaries including the Prime Minister are to be present, the stadium and the route on which the PM would travel have turned into a veritable fortress.
DCP Harshad Patel at Ahmedabad Poice Control Room informed that five DIG and 6 DCP level officers will be deployed for supervision at the stadium during the prime minister’s visit.
The security arrangments would include, 16 ACPs, 61 Police Inspectors, 91 Police Sub Inspectors and more than 1600 police personnel. Special arrangements have also been made to prevent traffic problems at any place on the toute.
For protction of the PM, apart from the NSG commandos which accompany the PM from Delhi, there would be a team of Gujarat’s Chetak commando also. Four companies of paramilitary force i.e. SRP would also be deployed for the same.
People from different parts of the state and city will flock to the Narendra Modi Stadium to participate in large numbers. A special parking system has been arranged for people coming from outside with allotted parking at a specific place. The police have made specific arrangements for people coming from certain places to sit in certain places. Police are in complete preparedness to avoid any disturbance in the event.
