The US Embassy recently issued a statement regarding the pending US Visa approvals in the non-immigrant categories. As the country continues to build themselves from the Covid 19 cases and dominant delta variant, the embassy informed that the visa for the non-immigrant categories will have to wait longer.
From November 8, around 3 million visa holders from India along with the proof of vaccination will be able to travel to the US as per the new international air travel policy. Describing the vaccination requirements, the US Embassy said that the foreign national air travelers to the United States of America will have to be fully vaccinated against Covid 19 and provide the proof of vaccination before boarding the plan.
They further said that the vaccines approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Emergency Use Listing (EUL) from the World Health Organisation (WHO) will be accepted for arrival within the US border.
The mission thanked the people for their patience.
