PM Modi To Launch 5G In Gandhinagar On Independence Day

| Updated: July 21, 2022 14:23

As India completes 75 years of independence on August 15, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has planned to launch the 5G service for the entire nation from Gandhinagar, the capital city of Gujarat. After the Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort, PM Modi might come to Gandhinagar to make this revolutionary tech move.

According to the sources, the works to launch the services at Gandhinagar Mahatama Mandir are under construction. Before 5G was released in Gandhinagar, the authorities tested it in various cities like Jamnagar and Vadodara. Reliance Jio conducted the tests to check the functioning of 5G at Jamnagar, Vadodara, and Gandhinagar.

The auction of the 5G spectrum in India will begin this week in July. Reliance Jio, Vodafone Group, and Adani Group are its highest bidders. However, Adani announced that it would buy the spectrum only to provide enterprise services. In addition, Vodafone and Jio are preparing to launch a war for the service.

After the arrival of 5G in India, the technological world will take a twist. According to the statistics, the speed of 5G is ten times faster than 4G. With the introduction of 5G, the digital revolution of India will witness a new spin. Further, it will benefit the economy of the nation. Moreover, E-governance will also expand, and life will become easier.
