Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hailed the Indian Army and given a shoutout to Operation Sindoor.
Addressing a rally in Kanpur on Friday, he said the operation had rattled India’s enemies and showcased the might of India’s homegrown defence systems like the BrahMos Missiles.
He said BrahMos missiles gave sleepless nights to the enemy during Operation Sindoor. According to him, the operation had left Pakistan so shaken that it had to plead to end the conflict.
Modi said, “Let no one be under any illusion. The one who was begging during Operation Sindoor must not forget — it is not over yet.”
The Prime Minister said the country had made its policy clear in three ways: India will respond strongly to every terror attack, with its military choosing the time, method and conditions; India will not be intimidated by nuclear threats; and terrorist masterminds and the governments backing them will be treated the same.
“Pakistan’s old game of distinguishing between state and non-state actors will not work anymore,” he said.
According to him, the operation also highlighted the strength of India’s indigenous defence capabilities. “The world has seen the power of Make in India and our desi weapons during Operation Sindoor. Our BrahMos missile entered enemy territory and caused destruction exactly where the targets were marked,” he added.
