On completing his two years as Gujarat BJP President, CR Paatil addressed the party workers. During his speech, Paatil urged the gathering not to use pressure tactics to seek assembly tickets. On Wednesday, the BJP leader informed the members that PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah knew the leaders. According to him, the BJP opts for the best candidates for the upcoming elections in December 2022.
CR Paatil also requested the BJP workers to unite to ensure that Gujarat does not suffer like Sri Lanka. He added that the island nation’s government collapsed the economy as they offered unnecessary freebies.
Paatil reminded the gathering that the elections are near and they must refrain from using pressure to get tickets. During the webcast, more than 52,000 leaders and members joined the speech. Moreover, the party workers asked the Gujarat BJP President questions about the page committee system.
The workers were also keen to know the reason behind the movement of leaders abandoning their parties to join the BJP. They were also intrigued to learn the plan that made BJP successful repeatedly. BJP workers also questioned CR Paatil on driving against malnutrition and other issues. Later, the President interacted with BJP MPs from Gujarat, who joined the meeting from Delhi as the Parliament was in session.
