Pushpa: The Rise, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, reached a cult status post-release in 2021. Even after a year, the Pushpa-fever continues to dominate the internet with its songs and dialogues. On August 22, Pushpa fans were delighted to know that the movie’s second part kickstarted with a ‘Pooja’ ceremony.

Earlier, the strike by Telugu producers had put the movie’s shooting on hold. However, the filming of Pushpa: The Rule has officially commenced, and fans cannot wait for it after the success of its first part. Pictures of the movie makers offering prayers in the pooja ceremony have taken over the internet.

Allu’s Arjun Instagram post dated July 29 created speculations that the actor might change his looks for the upcoming Pushpa movie. The Telugu superstar holds a salt and pepper look and poses with a cigar in the post. Later, reports said that Arjun is experimenting with not just one but two looks for the movie. The actor will sport tattoos for the first look, and for the second one, he will flaunt his ear piercings. According to the sources, Telugu fame is putting out photos to see people’s reactions.

Written and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise gained the masses’ love. It starred Allu Arjun as the protagonist alongside Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna. Mythri Movie Makers, in association with Muttamsetty media, produced the film that depicted the rise of a coolie in a smuggling nexus of red sandalwood, indigenous to the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh. Furthermore, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Ajay and Ajay Ghosh played supporting roles in the movie.
