The former Congress President, Rahul Gandhi will appear before the Surat district court on October 29 regarding a defamation complaint filed by a BJP MLA, Purnesh Modi.
This is will be the third time Gandhi will appear before the court. Gandhi’s assertion will be taken before the judge regarding the claims evened out against him. Earlier regarding this matter, two witnesses were testified before the court.
Modi, who was recently appointed as Minister of Roads and Buildings, Transport, has filed a defamation case against Gandhi for allegedly making defamatory remarks concerning Modi surname and the community at large during campaigning of the general election in 2019.
