| Updated: February 3, 2023 17:26

Will Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani exchange vows on February 6 in Rajasthan?  Rumours suggest that the couple has been dating for some time and that their fairy-tale happy ending will begin in the luxurious Suryagarh Palace hotel in Jaisalmer.

Kiara and Sid might join the lengthy list of famous couples who got married in the stunning state of Rajasthan.

Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal

Katrina and Vicky tied the knot after nearly two years of dating on December 9, 2021. In Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, at the opulent Six Senses Fort Barwara resort, they exchanged vows. Only family and close friends were invited to the ceremony, which was held under tight security to prevent any photos from leaking.

Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas

Priyanka and American singer Nick Jonas had a lavish wedding. The couple tied the knot in December 2018 according to Catholic and Hindu traditions at Jodhpur’s famous Umaid Bhawan Palace. Additionally, haldi and sangeet ceremonies were held in the palace, which was exclusively reserved for visitors. For her white wedding, Ms Chopra Jonas donned a handmade Ralph Lauren gown with a 75-foot veil, and for her Punjabi wedding, she chose a gorgeous red Sabyasachi lehenga.

Rukmini Sahay-Neil Nitin Mukesh

On February 9, 2017, Rukmini and Neil exchanged vows at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Udaipur. The haldi and sangeet ceremonies came after the engagement ceremony on February 7. They were introduced to one another by their parents, and the marriage was arranged.

Shriya Saran-Andrei Koscheev

Everyone was astonished when the Drishyam actress married her partner Andrei Koscheev in March 2018. The couple exchanged garlands while dressed as newlyweds at a lavish wedding ceremony. Shriya and Andrei began dating a few months after they first met in the Maldives. Former Russian tennis player Andrei is now a businessman located in Barcelona.

Raveena Tandon-Anil Thadani

Rajasthan gained notoriety thanks to Bollywood’s mast mast girl’s wedding. On February 22, 2004, she married movie distributor Anil Thadani at the Jag Mandir Palace Hotel in Udaipur. Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Govinda, Amar Singh, and former Chief minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje were among the prominent figures that attended the lavish wedding.

Katy Perry-Russel Brand

The singer accepted the British comedian’s marriage proposal outside the Taj Mahal in 2009, and the couple got married there the following year. At the Aman-i-Khas resort close to the Ranthambore tiger sanctuary, they were wed according to Hindu customs. Unfortunately, Katy and Russell separated after 14 months, and their divorce was finalised in 2012.

Elizabeth Hurley-Arun Nayyar

At the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur in March 2007, Indian businessman Arun Nayyar and British model and actress Elizabeth Hurley exchanged vows. It’s interesting to note that the couple used different forts for their pre-wedding rituals. While their spectacular celebration was held at the Mehrangarh Fort, their sangeet was held at the Nagaur Fort.

The couple exchanged their vows at Sudeley Castle in England before their large, eight-day Indian wedding. However, in 2010, the couple parted ways.
