Meanwhile, Maharashtra Minister and NCB State Chief Jayant Pail on Thursday said that the NCB was being used to “harass and defame” the citizens. Talking to the media in Ratnagiri, he also said that the party leader and the state minister Nawab Malik was brining out the truth.

Following the allegations made by Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik, Sameer Wankhede’s sister Yasmeen Wankhede has filed a police complaint registration of an FIR against Malik. She claimed that he had defamed her. This comes as Sameer Wankhede gets caught in the political storm and the high-profile cruise drug case. He was accused of being a part of Rs 25 crores extortion.

At the same time, wife of Sameer Wankhede has written an open letter to Maha CM Uddhav Thackeray. In the letter she seeks justice for her family as allegations of bribery against her husband surface.
