Actor Shahid Kapoor is currently promoting his film Jersey which depicts the journey of a man who returns to cricket after a long absence only for his son. Shahid has revealed that he was injured on the field during the filming of the jersey and had 25 stitches to his lips.
Shahid posted a video on his Instagram handle in which one can see the journey from training of the actor to his final shoot. In the video, the actor can be seen struggling with pain when a ball hits Shahid’s helmet and injures the lip.
As soon as Shahid shared the video of Jersey, the fans started showering a lot of love on the actor. One fan wrote, “Hardwork always puts Sir ahead. This is your blood, sir. ” Another fan wrote, “This movie will be a superhit.”
Speaking of Jersey, besides Shahid, it also has Mrinal Thakur and Pankaj Kapoor. The film is a Hindi adaptation of a small starring Telugu film and is directed by Gotham Tinnanuri. The movie is set to release on December 31, 2021.
