1.) A Walk In The Woods
Join us tomorrow for a walk in the woods. Hidimbavan, located near Lake Thol is the brainchild of a group of young urban planners in the city who have set out to replicate a natural ecosystem.
Planted with native species and landscape level water management, it is a permaculture and rewilding project – a quiet space to understand ecology, experiment and grow.
We will be meeting at 7am sharp at Iskcon crossroads to carpool and drive down to the forest located about twenty kilometers away. Feel free to bring children for this one!

2.) Book Launch: Crafting a Future
Crafting a Future is a heartfelt celebration of artisans and their vocational skills. Each region in India has its own distinctive raw materials, craft techniques, textiles, motifs and colour palettes, and through her well-researched narrative enriched with numerous stories, Archana Shah demonstrates the diversity and true value of handcrafted textile processes. Archana Shah has been collaborating with artisans around the country for the last 40 years to create textiles for urban markets. As a design student, she developed a keen interest in the traditional craft skills of indigenous artisans. This encouraged her to travel to remote corners of the country to study, understand and experience the vast variety of weaving, dyeing, printing, embroidery and ornamentation techniques practised by different communities. This proved to be a very enriching journey, and the unique skills of the people of various regions, their distinctive colour palettes and rich design vocabulary became the base for all her future work.

3.) Bravo Women 4.0
Multi-genre live music performed by various artists & strong women musicians from our own Ahmedabad city.
Bravo Women is an initiative created and powered by Sunday Secret Sessions and SSS Vocal Classes led by women and has empowered over 50+ women in the last 3 years. Incidentally— ‘Bravo Women’ is women tipping their hats to each other for everything they’ve accomplished in a male-dominated world.
From sponsoring to promoting and entertaining Bravo Women is proof that great things happen when strong women come together. It’s also a nod to the men who support women and acknowledge their varied achievements.
