The escalating issue of stray dogs has become a daily concern across the state, with a recent surge in dog-related injuries. Seven individuals, including a one-year-old girl, have been hospitalised at Sayaji Hospital following attacks by stray dogs.
In a separate incident, a dog attacked six residents of a housing society in Gotri, leading to injuries. The victims, Meenaben (24), Niraliben (6), Vaishaliben (7) and Varshaben (12), were promptly transported to Sayaji Hospital for medical attention.
Simultaneously, Priyanka Alpeshbhai Yadav, a one-year-old from Dholi Paliya in Varnama village, was mauled by a dog near Ramji Mandir. She was also rushed to Sayaji Hospital for immediate treatment.
In a single day, the hospital admitted seven individuals suffering from dog bite injuries. Doctors at Sayaji Hospital are currently providing care for the injured.
