The ambassador of India to the Us, Sandhu on his part said to have “exchanged perspectives on increasing the India-US commercial, knowledge, and tech collaboration with Google.” with the CEO of Alphabet and Google.

Google under Pichai, has declared an approximately $10 billion commitment to India’s digitization programme. Also, apart from having joint ventures with Bharti Airtel and Jio, Google collaborates with India on workforce and skill development.

Google’s investment in India has also increased dramatically. It’s reach has also increased manifold with it’s collaboration with the government on the national digital literacy programme and the Digital India Program.
