Meet Rupal Solanki, the first woman DCP to take charge of Surat city’s crime branch. As we know the graph of crime is growing in Surat city and who better to lead than Rupal Solanki.

Rupal Solanki, who was taking charge as a Female DCP for the first time in Surat city, said that there is no discrimination between male-female in the police department.

“I have never felt such discrimination in the police department. The responsibility that comes with it has to be handled with complete fidelity. For the first time in Surat, I have got this kind of responsibility which I am excited to fulfill.” she further added.

Her inspiration is Mary Kom 

She said, “When I watched the film I especially loved the scene where Mary Kom goes for training with her twin children. I love the dialogue of the film that when a woman becomes a mother she becomes stronger. I will take care of the family as well as my work.”
