While the probability of third wave of Corona is not entirely eliminated and Covid is rearing its head again, the night parties with DJs are on the rise in the Diamond City Sura. Videos of such a party held at Raghuveer Mall on Dumas Road on Monday have surfaced. With such DJs and night parties fingers are being pointed against the performance of Surat police. Surat police appears to have completely failed to control such parties.
A DJ night party was organized in the Dumas area. Many young people gathered, without apparently following any Covid protocol. Not a single young man or woman had a mask on their face, leave alone maintaining social distance norms. The youth were oblivious to everything in their dancing frenzy.
In posh localities of Surat, DJs and night parties are being organized unabashedly. The Surat police does not seem to mind, though. Earlier, on the 25th, a video of a DJ party at restaurant at Piplod went viral on social media and the police had to registered a case against the organizer and to arrest him. A dance party was held at a Banquet Hall at Kargil Chowk in Piplod in which more than 100 young people took part. The whole affair came to fore when a young woman uploaded a video.
