Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, held a ceremony to honour exceptional performance from the dedicated staff on the ground. These people and teams worked hard and gave their best to make travelers feel welcome and provide any assistance they needed. the management said that such service to the airport was highly appreciated and needed to be acknowledged and rewarded.
Sunil Sharma, a senior officer of the terminal team, who helped in the transportation of live organs was given a special award for his service. Other recipients include Sonam Singh, Customer Service Executive, Rajkumar Acharya, Supervisor of Parking Services, Khushbu Parmar from the housekeeping team, and Mayur Solanki for ensuring the best services to the passengers in need. The rewarded staff performed their duties as well as helped the passengers enough and showed loyalty which was appreciated by the stakeholders.
The work that the staff does is even more appreciated when one realizes that many of the employees come from remote villages and yet have been able to interact with the travelers with respect and kindness. The statement said that such staff has managed to leave a profound impression on the minds of the travelers.
