‘Thoracic Endoscopy Conference Will Help Medical Knowledge To Pass Through Generations’-Bhupendra Patel

Experts from various states of the country participated on the second day of the Thoracic Endoscopy Conference Tescon-2021 being held at Gandhinagar. During this three-day conference, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that the medical world, including pulmonologists, chest physicians and thoracic surgeons, has rendered divine service to the entire human society during the Corona period. Corona has now alarmed the citizens towards the chest, lung-related diseases and the word pulmonologist has reached door-to-door, he added.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also said that under the umbrella of Tescon-2021, the sages of the modern age of the medical science world are going to meditate in this conference for the health-care-treatment of the human world. In this context, he added that ancient sages like Charak, Sushruta, Patanjali laid the foundation of Ayurveda in India and cultivated the tradition of treatment of diseases. At present, medical science is a similarly expanding field and methods like endoscopy, bronchoscopy can be effective in treating chest-lung disease, according to him.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence regarding the brainstorming which will happen in the three-day conference, which would be an initiative to pass on the knowledge of this field of medicine from one generation to another. In the 5th National Conference of the Society established in 2012, the Chief Minister honoured two senior doctors Vikram Jain of Rajasthan and Rajendra Prasad of Lucknow with a Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding treatment. The conference was attended by the President of the Society, Secretary to the Government, Secretary Gupta, Organizing Secretary Dr Anand Patel, Manoj Patel and President Dr Solanki and others greeted the Chief Minister. Later, the vote of thanks was given by Dr Mukesh Patel.
