A major server glitch has caused a significant disruption in the operations of all Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) across the state, including the Ahmedabad RTO, for the past three days. The server downtime has led to the closure of driving test tracks and has adversely affected other operations.
On Sunday, RTO officials announced that the servers would remain down on Monday as well, leading to uncertainty about the driving tests for the Driver’s License (DL). This announcement has left long queues of anxious applicants at the RTO, unsure of when their work will proceed.
The server glitch has directly impacted approximately 30,000 people. Long queues of vehicles have been observed at the RTO complexes, and applicants are uncertain whether their work will proceed as scheduled even today.
The applicants have demanded an immediate identification and resolution of the problem. The server downtime, which has been affecting about 37 RTO offices, has now lasted for 72 hours.
