A chilling tragedy struck Ahmedabad city on Monday as a woman cooking on the footpath was crushed to death by a Municipal Corporation truck. The incident occurred in the Vasna area around 5:00 AM, leaving the woman, identified as Pramilaben, dead on the spot and her husband critically injured.

As Pramilaben prepared breakfast for her and her husband on the footpath they called home, fate dealt a cruel blow. A truck belonging to the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, equipped with a road cleaning machine, approached their makeshift abode.
Driver Loses Control, Lives Lost:
The M-Division traffic police officer investigating the case revealed that the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle, leading to the devastating collision. The heavy truck ran over Pramilaben, killing her instantly. Her husband, unfortunately, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the civil hospital for immediate medical attention.
