Police in Uttar Pradesh have launched an investigation into a video where a Hindu Priest is seen threatening to kidnap and rape Muslim women outside a mosque in Sitapur district, about 100 kilometers from Lucknow.
A man wearing saffron robes appears in a video addressing a crowd from inside a jeep in a small town called Khairabad. A man in a police uniform can also be seen in the background.

The man in the video alleges a plot to murder him and claims that Rs 28 lakh has been collected for the same. Upon receiving the tweet Sitapur Police said, the matter has been investigated by a senior officer and action will be taken based on the facts.
