Lieutenant General JS Nain, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command paid a visit to Headquarters Air Defence Brigade, Vadodara on February 23, 2022. The Army Commander was briefed by the Air Defence Brigade commander on operational readiness and important training issues. During his visit to the Vadodara Military Station, the General inspected various training facilities and security arrangements.
As part of the visit, a demonstration of the Air Defence Weapon System’s engagement of remotely piloted aircraft was performed that was well received by the General. Later during the event, he also emphasize the adoption of innovative methods to counter the Remotely Piloted Aircraft System threat. He also commended the upgraded training infrastructure at Brigade Training Node.
