| Updated: January 8, 2024 14:31

The much-anticipated Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, scheduled from January 10th to 14th, is set to welcome a host of international dignitaries. The summit will be graced by heads of state from four countries, governors and ministers from 18 countries, and representatives from 14 countries, totaling an impressive 1 lakh attendees.

The Prime Minister is arriving in Gujarat today, a day ahead of the Vibrant Summit. A flurry of activity is expected at Ahmedabad Airport as VVIP dignitaries, including prominent industrialists from India and abroad, are set to arrive.

Over the span of three days, the airport will witness the arrival of more than 150 chartered flights. This has led to a rush to arrange parking for these chartered planes. Among the esteemed guests, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Peter Fiala, along with his delegation, will arrive in Gujarat on the 9th. Meanwhile, Khalid A. Al-Falih, Minister of Saudi Arabia, is scheduled to arrive in Gujarat on the 10th.

On the day of the Vibrant Global Summit, the airport is expected to handle traffic from 400 flights. To accommodate the influx of chartered planes, parking arrangements are being made at Vadodara, Rajkot, and Surat airports.
