As a part of Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit 2021, a pre-summit with a focus on the Textile sector-‘Weaving Growth For Textiles’ will be held on December 29 in Surat.
Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel will inaugurate the seminar. A day-long summit will see deliberations on how to provide further impetus to the textiles and apparel sector.
The summit will provide a much-needed platform for textile manufacturers, suppliers and innovators to exchange ideas and find common ground for collaborations.
To further the cause of export promotion and employment generation the Union and State Governments will put forward their ideas on one platform. The event will see sizable participation from the Central Government as Union Minister of State for Textiles Darshanaben Jardosh with the Senior officials from the Union Government, MP and President of Gujarat BJP C R Patil will share the stage with the dignitaries from the State Government.
Three major points of discussions with policymakers, decision-makers and representatives from Industries and Associations will be:
(1) To redefine the textile sector
(2) The Indian Textile Industry As a Global Sourcing Hub
(3) The Future of Value Additions in the textile sector
The event will see participation from Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), ASSOCHAM and Industry leaders.
