A 31-year old man has reportedly committed suicide by jumping into the Sabarmati river. He was involved in the brokering business. The case has been registered as accidental death by the Riverfront West Police.
Ankit Bhatt, 31, who committed suicide, was a resident of Saathi Apartment in Memnagar. He was under a lot of pressure due to debt in business. He committed suicide by jumping into Sabarmati after leaving for work.
People who found the dead body floating near Gandhi Bridge informed the fire brigade and police about the incident. The deceased has messaged his father before committing suicide. The message read ` Take me from under The Gandhi Bridge.’
Primary investigation by the police shows that Ankit committed suicide. The family members said that it was Ankit’s birthday on August 20th. They had planned to celebrate his birthday but instead, now they will be mourning after his unexpected death.
