250 Days Of Curfew In A Year During Cong Rule In Gujarat: Shah

| Updated: November 15, 2022 17:13

Home Minister Amit Shah said that the BJP has always defined good governance. “The BJP has worked tirelessly to meet people’s expectations and it has enjoyed unwavering support and favour from Gujarat’s citizens,” he said. He said that during the Congress administration in the state, “curfews lasting 250 days a year had become the norm”. The BJP ended the mafia raj in Gujarat, exterminated anti-social elements, and created an impenetrable wall of law and order, developing Gujarat’s rural and urban areas, he said.

Shah said that 18 different sports stadiums are being built inside the Sardar Patel Sports Complex in Ahmedabad, and given the rate at which the work is progressing, it won’t be long before the Olympic Games are also held there. “We are doing what the Congress did not do during its 60-year reign. We are working to make people self-sufficient by providing them with amenities such as housing, gas connection, electricity, health insurance, ration, etc. The BJP has demonstrated that it does what it says through decisions such as Article 370, the abolition of triple talaq, and the construction of the Ram temple,” he said.

“The poor, the dalits and tribal peoples should have the first claim to the nation’s resources,” he said.
