Thakor Manibhai Patel of Bhadran village in Anand district and his family have been living in America for years. Thakor’s bungalow and land in Bhadran are being taken care of by Ramtubhai Ashabhai Bhoi. Ramtubhai has been living in the village for years and ever since the Patels moved to America, he has been taking care of the land and the bungalow. During the day, Ramtubhai works in the field and after going to his house in the evening, he goes to the bungalow located on Kasari Road. He stays at Thakorbhai’s bungalow at night.
The murder of this 65-year-old man guarding the NRI’s bungalow and land has created a stir. The district police have cordoned off all the roads in the district to nab the killers. Senior police officials rushed to the spot on learning about the incident.
On Monday morning, Dilipbhai came to meet his friend Ramtubhai at his house. He was informed that Ramtubhai had not returned home from the bungalow. So, Dilipbhai went to the bungalow to meet him. When he reached the bungalow, he saw Ramtubhai’s body lying inside the bungalow. Shocked at watching his friend’s dead body, Dilipbhai informed Ramtubhai’s son Shambhu. Shambhu rushed to the bungalow with his family and some other people.
Local police too rushed to the spot and informed the Bhadran police about the incident. Perhaps, robbery was the intent behind the murder, suspect the police officials. On investigating, police officials found things inside the bungalow in a haywire condition. Shambhu has registered a case against a stranger at Bhadran police station and the police have launched further investigations.
