A day after the state reported an increase in daily covid cases, Thursday saw a slight dip in the daily covid cases as a daily tally stood at 816. New covid cases have marginally decreased to 816 from 864 reported on Thursday, a marginal decrease of 48 cases within a day.
Thursday saw the daily covid deaths at 2 in the state. The number of active cases in the state is 5168. Total of 53 people in the state are on a ventilator.
While Ahmedabad city remained the biggest contributor with 312 cases. Other major contributors include Mehsana with 56 cases, Vadodara with 51 cases, Rajkot with 36 cases, Surat with 25 cases, and Kutch with 24 cases. These six regions made up for 70% of the Covid cases recorded today.
