As per officials, an Indian national was killed by five unidentified shooters in Southern Nepal on Saturday.
Shiva Pujan Yadav, 45, a resident of Motihari Chhaudadano, has been named as the deceased. According to authorities, he was shot at Mahagadhimai Municipality.
Yadav sustained critical injuries when five individuals on two motorcycles opened fire at him. Shortly after the event, he was taken to a local hospital, where, according to the police, he passed away while receiving treatment.
Police have taken a suspect into custody and opened an inquiry into the situation.
